Let's consider the equation :

x² + x + 1 = 0  (1)

x² + x = -1

We can divide by x, (0 is not root of (1)):

x + 1 = - 1/x  (2)

But (1) - x² gives:

x + 1 = - x²  (3)

From (2) and (3) we have - 1/x = - x² which can be written:

x³ = 1

Immediatly we have the solution x = 1 .

By replacing x by 1 in the equation (1), we obtain naturally 3 = 0

If we divide by 3, we have : 1 = 0, and then 2 = 1.
